ToothPreps is a 'VIRTUAL TYPODONT'
It is a scrollable, zoomable and mobile-compatible set of images and 3D models of various tooth preparations for fixed prosthodontics.
The image collection
The image collection is a set of photographs of various preparations taken at different stages.
The 3D models
The 3D models can be dragged, zoomed and examined closely, almost as though you
were holding the models in your own hands!
DISCLAIMER: This resource is intended to be used only as an adjunct to teaching, and not a replacement. Please note that there are often multiple ways to undertake a dental procedure, and although these are some of the methods commonly taught in our School of Dentistry, there are many other ways of carrying out these procedures and different materials available.
